European Preparatory Assembly: Berlin January 29th /31st 2010

The next European Preparatory Assembly for the ESF will take place in Berlin January 29th /31st 2010
You’ll find below a first draft of the agenda. The network meetings will be Friday Jan 29th between 09.00 h and 18.00 h. They are all self organized. The Networks should send their room requests as soon as possible.
For the EPA we have organized simultaneous translation in German, English, and French only for the assembly.
The percentage reimbursement of travel costs for East Europeans will depend on the participation fees. There is no special fund and no guarantee.
Representatives of organizations will pay 50,00 €, individuals 10,00 € as participation fee.
Everybody who needs a visa please send your request immediately to
epa-registration@attac.de with all required dates as address, validity of the passport, issued by, date and place of birth, etc.
It would be helpful for the organizers to register in advance. Please send all registrations, requests and questions to epa-registration@atta.de

The venue for the EPA is the headquarters of the United Service Union Ver.di.

Both venues are in a walking distance from each other. The Metro in Berlin is called S-Bahn, always marked with an >S<, the underground is named U-Bahn and marked with an >U<. From the airport Berlin-Schönefeld you have direct connection to the „Ostbahnhof” by S-Bahn. From the airport Berlin-Tegel you are recommended to go by airport bus X9 or 109 to the S-Bahn station “Zoologischer Garten” and by S-Bahn to “Ostbahnhof”.
